Producer–director Guy Ritchie has a fun new action picture out called “Wrath of Man.“ The story about a man who takes a job as an armored truck driver in Los Angeles is filled with seamless action sequences that hold the audience’s collection attention throughout the nearly two hour duration.
Though the storyline is predictable (this is a heist picture, after all), this crowd pleaser is from a well written screenplay by Ritchie, Ivan Atkinson, and Marn Davies. The lead character is well played by Jason Statham, who previously teamed up with Ritchie in three films with a fifth collaboration coming out next year in “Five Eyes.”
The supporting cast includes Scott Eastward, Andy Garcia, Eddie Marsan, Holt McCallany, Jeffrey Donovan, Josh Hartnett, among others.
The excellent musical score is also worth mentioning, composed by Oscar winner Chris Benstead. The very watchable “Wrath of Man” is a hit at the box office for Guy Ritchie and Metro–Goldwyn–Mayer.
