The cast turned in good performances including Major Dodson as Tyson, Rory Cochrane and Amy Smart as his parents, Barkhad Abdi as Aklilu, Layla Felder, Claudia Zevallos, Isaiah Hanley, Jibre Hordges, and Reno Wilson as the Mayor. The watchable faith-based movie “Tyson’s Run” did not do well at the box office for producer Kim Bass, Planet 9 Productions, and Collide Distribution.
