Julia Roberts and George Clooney have teamed up once again for another entertaining motion picture. “Ticket to Paradise” is a winsome romantic comedy smoothly directed by Oliver Parker (“Mama Mia! Here We Go Again” 2018), who also co-wrote the screenplay with Daniel Pipski.
This is the duo’s fifth film together so their chemistry has been tried and tested. The experience shows up on the screen, with a supporting cast that includes Kaitlyn Dever as their daughter, Billie Lourd (Carrie Fisher’s daughter), Maxime Bouttier, and Lucas Bravo. The four previous Clooney-Roberts collaborations have been “Ocean’s Eleven” (2001), “Confessions of a Dangerous Mind” (2002), “Ocean’s Twelve” (2004), and “Money Monster” (2016).
Another plus for this watchable movie was the location shoots in picturesque Queensland, Australia. “Ticket to Paradise” was successful at the box office much to the delight of Universal Pictures.
