My Review

“The Wolf of Wall Street” is a black comedy that went to far to the dark side: Glamorizing drug use, excessive use of profanity, and giving positive celebrity status to to individuals who find creative ways to cheat people out of their money.

Shame on producer-director Martin Scorsese, screenwriter Terence Winter, and stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Jonah Hill for dumping this garbage on the movie going audiences, who expected more from top Hollywood talent like them. Shame on the Motion Picture Academy of Arts & Sciences for giving this picture five Oscar nominations.

The supporting cast includes Matthew McConaughey, Rob Reiner, Margot Robbie, Kyle Chandler, Jon Favreau, Jean Dujardin. This film has the distinction of being the first motion picture to be distributed entirely digitally. “The Wolf of Wall Street” has gone to the dogs, even with some success at the box office.
