Show business legend Pat Boone at age 87 continues to stay active in movies with a new film out called “The Mulligan.” This faith-based project from ReelWorks Studios and director Michael O. Sajbel (“One Night with the King” 2006) tells the story of a man with career and family problems who needs a second chance in life.
He gets advise on the golf course from an “Old Pro” (Boone) who tells him that God can give him a mulligan, which in golf is an extra stroke, not recorded on the scorecard. Pat Boone’s easy-going style and professionalism is a pleasure to see at the picture show in this day and age.
The supporting cast includes Eric Close, Nancy Stafford (“Matlock” co-star), Debra Stipe, Gary Weeks, Tanya Christiansen, Jason Burkey, Charmin Lee, Andrew Brodeur, and television pastor Jenezen Franklin playing himself.
The very watchable motion picture “The Mulligan” has been in theaters this year in limited release, with the result being unlimited movie viewing inspiration.
