My Review

Director Steven Spielberg’s second act in the Jurassic Park series certainly hit the mark. “The Lost World: Jurassic Park” is loaded with action sequences, realistic looking dinosaurs terrorizing people, a reasonably good storyline, and more. Four years after the original film, John Hammond loses control of his park to his nephew, who intends to start a new park in San Diego. When he tries to control the dinosaurs on the company’s second island, things get out of hand fast and they begin to attack people in his party. The result is more action and drama than in “Jurassic Park” of 1993!

The cast includes Jeff Goldblum, Julianne Moore, Pete Postlethwaite, Arliss Howard, Richard Attenborough, Vince Vaughn, Richard Schiff, Peter Stormare, Vanessa Lee Chester, Harvey Jason, Thomas F. Duffy, Joseph Mazzello, Ariana Richards, and Camilla Belle. The watchable and suspense-filled “The Lost World: Jurassic Park” was a massive hit at the box office for Amblin Entertainment and Universal Pictures.
