My Review
The second and final reunion movie of the original cast of “The Dukes of Hazzard” (1979-1985) was “The Dukes of Hazzard: Hazzard in Hollywood.” This made-for-tv motion picture was a fun tribute to the original series that ran on CBS.
Director Bradford May and executive producer and teleplay writer Gy Waldron, creator of the original show, made sure this project had the same flavor as the popular series, and has the Dukes traveling west to Hollywood to raise money for charity.
The cast included regulars Tom Wopat (Bo), John Schneider (Luke), Catherine Bach (Daisy), Sonny Shroyer (Enos), Ben Jones (Cooter), Rick Hurst (Cletus), and James Best as Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane. Other cast members include Nicholas Coster, Anita Cochran, and Mac Davis as The Balladeer.
All are part of the fun of the very watchable tv-movie “The Dukes of Hazzard: Hazzard in Hollywood” on CBS, the final get-together of the Duke gang.
