Liam Neeson has another one of his patented action thrillers out, called “The Commuter.” In this one, he plays a man recruited into a murder conspiracy by a mysterious woman he meets while on his daily train commute. The big screen results are positive due to crisp direction by Jaume Collet-Serra (“House of Wax” 2005) and a tightly written screenplay by Byron Willinger, Philip de Blasi, and Ryan Engle.
Neeson’s everyman persona and sincere aura serves him well in this new project. The watchable film includes Vera Farmiga, Patrick Wilson, Sam Neill, Elizabeth McGovern, Jonathan Banks, Killian Scott, et al., in this independent motion picture production.
