My Review

The true story of the Robertson family of “Duck Dynasty” fame is told in the faith-based film “The Blind.” Director Andrew Hyatt, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Stephanie Katz, was firmly at the helm of this picture, with good writing, even pacing, outstanding performances, giving viewers an inside look into the private lives of Phil Robertson and Kay Robertson, including how they came into a conversion to the Christian faith.

Aron von Andrian and Amelia Eve are perfect in the lead roles. They deliver convincing acting jobs. The supporting cast includes Connor Tilman, Kerry Knuppe, Aaron Dalla Villa, Emily DeForest, Clint James, Wendy Goin, Tom McCafferty, Jackson Dean Vincent, Sawyer Jesse Mixon, and John Ales as Pastor Bill Smith and Nick Milone as Terry Bradshaw. “The Blind” has been a modest success in theatrical release.
