Ben Affleck delivers a marvelous and layered performance as an autistic certified public accountant who has a side job as a hitman in “The Accountant.” Director Gavin O’Connor (“Warrior” 2011) and screenwriter Bill Dubuque keep the action coming in this unique and offbeat thriller.
The supporting cast includes some favorite actors we do not always see these days on the big screen like Jean Smart, John Lithgow, and Jeffrey Tambor. The presence of these veterans adds class to the film. Also appearing are Anna Kendrick, J. K. Simmons, Jon Bernthal, Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Andy Umberger, and Alison Wright. “The Accountant” from Warner Bros. Pictures was successful at the box office.
