“Survivor” is a disappointing action spy movie with Pierce Brosnan seeming to rely on his past James Bond popularity to carry him through this nonsense directed by James McTeigue (“Dark City” 1998).
Brosnan and his fellow thespians Milla Jovovich, Angela Bassett, Roger Rees, James D’Arcy, Dylan McDermott, Robert Forster, Antonia Thomas and Frances dela Tour recite dribble from a screenplay written by Philip Shelby, rejected by critics and movie-goers alike.
“Survivor” made virtually no money at the box office when released in the United Kingdom, and went straight to DVD in the United States. If you can survive 96 minutes of this independent British film, then you are indeed a hardy soul.
