“Star Trek Generations” completes the transition in the movie series from the cast of the original 1960’s TV show to “The Next Generation” stars of the 1980’s. Director David Carson kept the focus of the film on the storyline from the lean screenplay by Ronald A. Moore and Brandon Braga, ensuring a smooth pace of the two hour film.
