My Review

Superhero motion pictures probably do not get better than “Spider-Man: Far From Home.” This sequel to 2017’s “Spider-Man: Homecoming” has a seemingly spontaneous and fresh feel to it from director Jon Watts, producers Kevin Feige and Amy Pasqual, and screenwriters Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, all behind the 2017 original. Of course, we know that these projects do not happen suddenly or come out of nowhere but have been meticulously planned out.

Outstanding production values from the aforementioned team came together with some great performances by the actors. Tom Holland has handled himself well, carrying a second major film (plus three other appearances in movies as Spider-Man) at the age of 23.

The supporting cast includes a variety of performers including Samuel L. Jackson, Zendaya, Jon Favreau, Cobie Smulders, J. B. Smoove, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Oscar winner Marisa Tomei returning as Aunt May, a role she has claimed as her own.

“Spider-Man: Far From Home” is such as wonderful and watchable film that it earned more than one billion dollars at the box office for Marvel Studios, Columbia Pictures, and Sony Pictures.
