“Rogue” is a laughably terrible movie starring Megan Fox as a mercenary whose team is sent into Africa on a rescue mission, where they get into all kinds of trouble including being hunted by a bloodthirsty lion. This poorly planned and badly executed project was directed by M. J. Bassett (“Deathwatch” 2002), who co-wrote the screenplay with Isabell Bassett.
Bad writing and sloppy directing did not give the cast much to work with. Along with Fox, they include Philip Winchester, Jessica Sutton, Brandon Auret, Adam Deacon, etal, in the unwatchable Lionsgate picture “Rogue,” which was released digitally because of the COVID pandemic closing all movie theaters.
