My Review

Peter Lorre starred as “international policeman” Kentaro Moto in a series of seven films between 1937 and 1939. In number six, “Mr. Moto’s Last Warning,” Moto tries to stop someone’s plot to start a war between Britain and France.

Screenwriters Philip MacDonald and Norman Foster adapted the story and character created by John P. Marquand. Producer Sol M. Wurtzel and director Norman Foster put together these “B” movies for 20th Century Fox.

The supporting cast behind Lorre includes George Sanders, John Carradine, Ricardo Cortez, Virginia Field, Joan Carroll, Robert Coote, Margaret Irving, Leyland Hodgson, John Davidson, and Teru Shimada.
