“Money” is quite a thriller of a film about a man who takes a couple captive in their home while they are entertaining people at a dinner party. Numerous twists and turns of the plot keep the audience guessing as to what will happen next for the entire 86 minute length of the movie, thanks to excellent direction by Martin Rosete, in his feature film debut, and the well-written screenplay by Josep Cuitat.
The cast turned in some excellent performances, headed by Jamie Bamber as the captor. He is most famous for his role as Lee Adama in the “Battlestar Galactica” television series of 2003-2010. Others include Jesse Williams, Kellan Lutz, Jess Weixler, Lucia Guerrero, and Fredric Lehne. “Money” premiered at the Palm Beach International Film Festival in April, 2016, and released on Netflix in October, 2017.
