Director Steven Spielberg (“Jurassic Park” 1993) has created an exciting science fiction action film called “Minority Report.” It is a futuristic story, set in 2054, where specialized police departments apprehend criminals by use of foreknowledge from psychics. It is well written by screenwriters Scott Frank and Jon Cohen, making the two-and-a-half hours move swiftly.
The cast delivers good performances, which includes Tom Cruise, Colin Farrell, Samantha Morton, Max von Sydow, Neal McDonough, Patrick Kilpatrick, Lois Smith, Kathryn Morris, Mike Bender, Steve Harris, Jessica Harper, Tim Blake Nelson, Daniel London, and Peter Stormare.
“Minority Report” was successful in theatrical release for Amblin Entertainment, DreamWorks Pictures, and 20th Century Fox. The film also contains another outstanding musical score from John Williams.
