My Review

Faye Dunaway heads a cast in a drama film about two couples who go on a search for one million dollars they think is buried on an island between Miami and Cuba. The four people soon turn against each other in dramatic fashion in “Midnight Crossing.”

This independent movie, capably directed by Roger Holzberg, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Doug Weiser, is not a glossy or slick production by any standard, but does have enough drama and believable suspense to hold the viewers’ interest throughout the nearly two hour duration of the film.

Dunaway’s co-stars include Daniel J. Travanti, Kim Cattrall, Ned Beatty, John Laughlin, and Pedro De Pool. The watchable “Midnight Crossing” was a big box office flop for Team Effort Productions, Limelite Studios, and Vestron Pictures.
