“Men in Black: International,” the fourth in the “Men in Black” movie series (1997, 2002, 2012), has expanded its horizons to include women in black. Director F. Gary Gray (“The Fate of the Furious” 2017) and writers Art Marcum and Matt Holloway have done the bidding of executive producer Steven Spielberg to create another MIB sequel that has no new ideas but is easy to watch entertainment.
The cast features Emma Thompson reprising her role from the third picture, with some big name stars joining her: Chris Hemsworth, Liam Neeson, Tessa Thompson. Others include Rebecca Ferguson, Kumail Nanjani, and Rafe Spall.
There are loads of action and special effects in the watchable “Men in Black: International,” from Amblin Entertainment, Columbia Pictures, and Sony Pictures, and not much else.
