“Men in Black 3” is a fun and well crafted motion picture, proving true the old adage that the third time is a charm, better than “Men in Black” (1997) and “Men in Black II” (2002). Director Barry Sonnenfeld (at the helm of the two previous films) and screenwriter Etan Cohen explores the agents’ past on the backdrop of the historic Apollo 11 lunar rocket launch in 1969. They did a good job of balancing comedy, drama, and scifi action.
Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones have great chemistry as Agents J & K, respectively. Co-stars include Josh Brolin, Jemaine Clements, Michael Stuhlbarg, Bill Hader, Mike Colter, Lenny Venito, and Emma Thompson back as Agent O, director of the MIB agency. The watchable “Men in Black 3” from Amblin Entertainment, Columbia Pictures, and Sony Pictures Releasing was very successful at the box office.
