Warner Bros. Pictures gives Superman gets the full treatment in the big budget remake of the “Man of Steel.” The all-star cast is headed by British actor Henry Cavill, who fits the bill as Clark Kent and Superman, arguably the most popular superhero of all time. Director Zach Snyder (“300” 2006) and screenwriters Christopher Nolan and David S. Goyer do an excellent job of going through all of the Clark Kent/Superman story in 143 minutes.
The supporting cast includes Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Michael Shannon as Gen. Zod of Krypton, Kevin Costner and Diane Lane as Jonathan and Martha Kent, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White. Also included are Russell Crowe, Christopher Meloni, Richard Schiff, Mackenzie Gray, Michael Kelly, Carla Gugino, Harry Lennix, Ayelet Zurer, and Antje Traue.
“Man of Steel” was a big hit at the box office for producer Christopher Nolan and Warner Bros. Pictures, and the first installment in the DC Extended Universe.
