The sequel to 2013’s “Olympus Has Fallen” is out and the public and critics alike love it. “London Has Fallen” is full of action and adventure thanks to Swedish director Babak Najafi in his impressive American film debut and screenwriters Creighton Rothenberger, Katrin Benedikt, Chad St. John, and Christian Gudegast.
Gerard Butler returns, not only as one of the producers, but also as Secret Service agent Mike Banning, once again in charge of protecting his president from terrorists, this time in London, U. K. Other cast members elected to a second term are Aaron Eckhart as President Benjamin Asher, Morgan Freeman as the Vice President, Angela Bassett as Secret Service director, Robert Forster as the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Melissa Leo as Defense Secretary, and Radha Mitchell as Mike’s wife. Others include Charlotte Riley, Jackie Earl Haley, Sean O’Bryan, Clarkson Guy Williams, and Alon Moni Aboutboul as the terrorist mastermind.
