Kevin Sorbo (“Hercules” on TV, 1995-1999) plays an atheist who goes through a near death experience in a car crash and converts to Christianity in “Let There Be Light.” Besides turning in a heartfelt and believable performance in the lead role, Sorbo also made his directorial debut. He did a good job at the helm of this well-paced film instilled with good production values, and some interesting twists and turns of the plot. The wonderful screenplay was written by Dan Gordon and Sam Sorbo, a co-star who is also married to Kevin Sorbo.
The supporting cast includes Daniel Roebuck, Danielle Artese, Gary Grubbs, Olivia Fox, Michael Franzese, and Shane Sorbo and Braeden Sorbo, sons of Kevin & Sam. Travis Twitt, Sean Hannity, and Dionne Warwick also appear in “Let There Be Light,” an watchable independent faith-based film.
