My Review

“Lamborghini: The Man Behind the Legend” is a biographical film about Italian entrepreneur Ferruccio Lamborghini (1916-1993). Director-screenwriter Robert Moresco (“Bent” 2018) filled the movie with great cinematography (filmed in Italy) but also featuring lousy writing and mediocre performances. The running time of the film is thankfully only 97 minutes.

The weak cast includes Frank Gillo in the title role, Gabriel Byrne as Enzo Ferrari, as well as Mira Sorvino, Romano Reggiani, Matteo Leoni, Hannah van der Westhuysen, Fortunato Cerlino, Giorgio Cantarini, and Eliana Jones. “Lamborghini: The Man Behind the Legend” was a flop at the box office for Lambofilm, Zian Films, Grindstone Entertainment Group, Iervolino and Lady Bacardi Entertainment, and Lionsgate Films. Mira Sorvino was nominated for Worst Supporting Actress at the Golden Raspberry Awards.
