Universal Pictures, DreamWorks Animation, and Oriental DreamWorks have come out with “Kung Fu Panda 3,” a sequel to the first two films of 2008 and 2011. Though not as innovative as its predecessors, number three is nonetheless entertaining and extremely visually attractive. Producer Melissa Cobb and directors Jennifer Yuh Nelson and Alessandro Carloni were wise in providing the option of viewing this picture in 3D.
The well-written screenplay by Jonathan Aibel and Glenn Berger gave some quality dialogue for the all-star cast to perform. This includes Jack Black, Bryan Cranston, Dustin Hoffman, J. K. Simmons, Angelina Jolie, Jackie Chan, Seth Rogan, Lucy Liu, David Cross, Kate Hudson, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Al Roker, James Hong, Wayne Knight, Zahara Jolie-Pitt, and Shiloh Jolie-Pitt. “Kung Fu Panda 3” is a watchable Universal Pictures product that made lots of cash in general theatrical release.
