My Review

“Kung Fu Panda” is the story of a panda named Po in the Valley of Peace in ancient China who is selected to defend his hometown from an upcoming attack from a vicious snow leopard. Po is at first reluctant, but proceeds with training from Master Shifu. His adventure begins, taking the viewers along with him. This animated martial arts film is filled with comedy and drama, well constructed by directors John Stevenson and Mark Osborne, from a screenplay by Jonathan Aibel and Glenn Berger.

The voice cast includes Jack Black as Po and Dustin Hoffman as Master Shifu, with co-stars Ian McShane, Angelina Jolie, Seth Rogan, Lucy Liu, David Cross, Jackie Chan, Michael Clarke Duncan, Randall Duk Kim, James Hong, and Dan Fogler. The watchable “Kung Fu Panda” as outstanding and colorful animation, a massive block buster at the box office for DreamWorks Animation and Paramount Pictures. It was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Animated Feature, and its success launched a film franchise that includes full feature length film feature sequels released in 2011, 2016, and 2024.
