“Jurassic World Rebirth” is the story of a team of skilled operatives traveling to the island research facility for the original Jurassic Park. Their mission is to secure genetic material from the dinosaurs whose DNA can provide life saving benefits for mankind. Of course, things start going awry from unexpected problems (caused by crazed dinosaurs) that means big trouble for our gang of adventurers.
The film was tightly directed by Garth Edwards (“Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” 2016) providing good production values, an acceptable script, fine acting, outstanding special effects, and loads of action sequences. “Jurassic World Rebirth” is a fast-moving 133 minute running time. The screenplay was written by David Koepp, based on characters by Michael Crichton, who penned the original novel “Jurassic Park” in 1990.
The stars include Scarlett Johansson, Mahershala Ali, Jonathan Bailey, Rupert Friend, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Ed Skrein, Luna Blaise, David Iacono, Bechir Sylvain, Philippine Velge, and Audrina Miranda. The very watchable “Jurassic World Rebirth” has been a huge hit at the global box office for executive producer Steven Spielberg, producer Frank Marshall, Amblin Entertainment, and Universal Pictures. So far, it is the sixth highest grossing film of 2025.
This is the seventh in the entire franchise, which includes “Jurassic Park” (1993), “The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997), “Jurassic Park III” (2001), “Jurassic World” (2013), “Jurassic World: The Fallen Kingdom” (2015), “Jurassic World: Dominion” (2022), and “Jurassic World Rebirth” (2025).
