My Review
If you enjoy a good old-fashioned western movie, Kevin Costner has brought some to your local movie theater screens this summer. “Horizon: An America Saga – Chapter 1” is the first of four epic western dramas that Costner has directed, with the second set to be released next month (Aug. 16, 2024).
The story is set in post-Civil War United States, centered on settlement of the west. Characters include not only white people, but a balanced looked at Native Americans. The huge cast features Kevin Costner, Sienna Miller, Sam Worthington, Giovanni Ribisi, Danny Huston, Jenna Malone, Luke Wilson, Tatanka Means, Will Patton, Angus Macfadyen, Dale Dickey, and numerous others.
“Horizon: An American Saga” has had success at the box office for producer Kevin Costner, Territory Pictures, New Line Cinema, and Warner Bros. Pictures. Costner has ensured excellent production values for this project, eventually to be four films.
