My Review

The husband and wife acting team of Steven Seagal and Kelly LeBrock (married from 1987-1996) starred in the action-adventure film “Hard to Kill.” While William Shakespeare doesn’t have to worry about a 20th century rival, this movie has enough action, adequate direction by Bill Malmuth, and a passable screenplay written by Steven McKay to qualify as fun entertainment.

The supporting cast behind the Seagals includes Zachary Rosencrantz, William Sadler, Frederick Coffin, Branscombe Richmond, James DiStefano, Dean Norris, Francesca P. Roberts, Bonnie Burroughs, Robert LaSardo, Ernie Lively, and Los Angeles area newsman Jerry Dunphy as himself. “Hard to Kill” debuted at number one at the box office in February, 1990, much to the delight of producer Bill Todman Jr., Lee Rich Productions, and Warner Bros. Pictures.
