Halle Berry delivers one of the best performances of her career in “Frankie and Alice.” The fascinating story of a woman with dissociative identity disorder (formerly called split personalities) follows the twists and turns of her life in a movie tightly directed by Geoffrey Sax (“Doctor Who” 1996) and a good screenplay by Cheryl Edwards, Marko King, Mary King, Jonathan Walters, Joe Schrapnel, and Anna Waterhouse.
The supporting cast with Halle Berry include Stellan Skarsgard as her doctor, Phylicia Rashad as her mother, as well as Matt Frewer, Chandra Wilson, Katherine Isabelle, and Kira Clavell. The independently produced “Frankie and Alice” did not do well in theatrical release.
