My Review

“Fool Proof” is a heist film directed and written by Canadian filmmaker William Phillips, who failed to create an interesting or entertaining movie that audiences would pay money to view. This film was a flop at the box office in Canada and with critics. The story has some friends planning out heists without actually executing them. One day a real criminal comes into possession of the plans and does the deed and blames it on the group of friends.

The cast includes Ryan Reynolds, Kristin Booth, Joris Jarsky, David Hewlett, James Alodi, and David Suchet. All seemed to deliver acceptable performances, but were hampered by mediocre material. The unwatchable “Fool Proof” is not fool proof viewing for amusement, and was released to theaters in October, 2003, and went to DVD in March, 2004.
