My Review

Walt Disney Pictures and Pixar Animation Studios took thirteen years to develop a sequel to 2003’s “Finding Nemo,” and it was well worth the wait. “Finding Dory” tells the amusing and entertaining story of a memory-challenged fish named Dory on a journey to be reunited with her parents. A clever screenplay by Andrew Stanton and Victoria Strouse, with organized direction by Stanton, along with the 3D computer-generated imagery, has made this a blockbuster and big money for Disney.

Ellen DeGeneres and Albert Brooks return as voice cast members from the original, along with newcomers Hayden Rolence, Ed O’Neill, Kaitlin Olson, Ty Burrell, Diane Keaton, Eugene Levy, Idris Elba, Bill Hader, John Ratzenberger, William Dafoe, Brad Garrett, Allison Janney, and Sigourney Weaver as herself. Find a copy of the DVD of “Finding Dory” and be assured of some winsome family entertainment.
