The superhero genre story lines appear to be growing thin with “Eternals,” the 26th movie in the Marvel Comic universe. In this product, ten superheroes named Eternals come out of hiding after thousands of years to battle their longtime enemies, the Deviants, for control of earth.
Director Chloe Zhao, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Patrick Burleigh, Ryan Firpo, and Kaz Firpo, has populated this picture with too many characters to deal with, as well as a convoluted storyline.
“Eternals” is just plain bring, with a plot viewers cannot sink their teeth into.
Angelina Jolie and Salma Hayek are the only familiar faces in this unwatchable drivel from Marvel Studios and Walt Disney Pictures.
