Fans of the television series should enjoy the new theatrical release “Entourage.” Others could get something out of the film, as producer-director-screenwriter Doug Ellin (creator of the tv show “Entourage” on HBO, 2004-2011) kept production values high enough for general viewing.
The principals all returned for the movie version: Jeremy Piven, Adrian Grenier, Kevin Connolly, Kevin Dillon, and Jerry Ferrara. Other stars include Debi Mazar, Billy Bob Thornton, Haley Joel Osment, Alan Dale, and Nora Dunn. Numerous celebs made cameos including Jessica Alba, Gary Busey, Martin Landau, Warren Buffet, Kelsey Grammar, Piers Morgan, Ronda Rousey, Bob Saget, David Spade, George Takei, and Mark Wahlberg, who co-produced with Ellin. “Entourage” barely made a profit at the box office for Home Box Office, a division of Warner Bros. Pictures.
