Everyone loves to watch a slow-motion train wreck, and director-screenwriter Nicole Holofcener (“Friends With Money” 2006) has provided a dandy in “Enough Said.” This romantic comedy tells the tale of a masseuse (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) and her new boyfriend (James Gandolfini), only to find out that he is the former husband of one of her clients and new-found friend (Catherine Keener).
Holofcener’s well written dialogue and skillfully crafted plot was superbly performed by Louis-Dreyfus and Gandolfini. The pair transcend their famous roles in “Seinfeld” and The Sopranos,” respectively, showing how talented they are. Gandolfini unfortunately passed away soon after filming was completed and before its release. “Enough Said” is dedicated to him.
Co-stars include Toni Collette, Ben Falcone, Toby Huss, Angelah Johnson, Michaela Watkins, and Eve Hewson in this Fox Searchlight Pictures movie.
