My Review
“Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves” is an exciting action heist film that contains elements of the board game of the same name. Directors-screenwriters Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley have created a great film that not only has action, adventure, and board game fun, but also comedy as well. Michael Gillo also co-wrote the screenplay that was adapted from the Hasbro game.
The stars do not disappoint with their good acting performances and outstanding chemistry including Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Hugh Grant, Sophia Lillis, Justice Smith, Chloe Coleman, Daisy Head, Jason Wong, Bradley Cooper, and Ian Hanmore as the ruler of Thay. Unfortunately for Hasbro, Entertainment One, and Paramount Pictures, “Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves” barely made enough money at the box office to cover the expensive production costs and advertising expenses.
