“Den of Thieves 2: Pantera” continues the story of L. A. County Sheriff Nick O’Brien as he becomes embroiled in the pursuit of diamond thieves from Europe to Los Angeles County. The two lead actors return for a second time around, with Gerard Butler and O’Shea Jackson Jr. (son of Ice Cube) reprising their roles of Nicholas O’Brien and Donnie Wilson, respectively. Co-stars include Evin Ahmad, Meadow Williams, Salvatore Esposito, Orli Shuka, Cristian Solimeno, Nazmiye Oral, Dino Kelly, and Fortunato Cerlino. The watchable “Den of Thieves 2: Pantera” was a modest success in theatrical release for producer Gerard Butler, Diamond Film Productions, Sierra Pictures, Tucker Tooley Entertainment, and Lionsgate Films.
