My Review

Deadpool discovers that his universe is set to be destroyed and must team up with Wolverine to prevent this disaster. “Deadpool & Wolverine” is the 34th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and probably the worst one yet. The movie is filled with excessive violence and gore, a chorus of four-letter words, poorly written dialogue, and general conversation specializing in bad taste. Director Shawn Levy (“Free Guy” 2021) has put together a film that has no redeeming characteristics, except for good special effects.

The cast is headed by Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool and Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. So much for star quality; more like star trash. The supporting cast includes Emma Corrin, Morena Baccarin, Rob Delaney, Leslie Uggams, Aaron Stanford, Matthew Macfadyen, Karan Soni, Brianna Hildebrande, Jennifer Garner, Wesley Snipes, Channing Tatum, Chris Evans, Jon Favreau, and a few more lowlifes not worth mentioning.

The unwatchable “Deadpool & Wolverine” has had some success at the box office for producer Kevin Feige, Marvel Studios, Maximum Effort Productions, 21 Laps Entertainment, Walt Disney Studios, and The Walt Disney Company. It is a sequel to “Deadpool” (2016) and “Deadpool 2” (2018).
