My Review
If you want to waste ninety minutes of your time, go see “Child’s Play.” A silly storyline and extremely violent images rule the day in this remake of the 1988 movie of the same name that introduced the evil Chucky the doll to modern culture.
Director Lars Klevberg and writer Tyler Burton Smith have updated director-writer Don Mancini’s “Chucky” series with some modest success at the box office. It seems that there is always a market for films with gratuitous sex and violence.
The cast includes Aubrey Plaza, Gabriel Bateman, Brian Tyree Henry, Marlon Kazadi, Beatrice Kitsos, Ty Consiglio, along with veterans Tim Matheson and Mark Hamill as the voice of Chucky. This movie is nothing but “Child’s Play” from Orion Pictures and United Artists.
Everything is very open with a clear description of the issues. It was really informative. Your website is useful. Thanks for sharing!
