My Review

“Bon Voyage!” is a comedy film starring Fred MacMurray and Jane Wyman as a couple who go on a European holiday by way of cruise ship with their three teenage children. Director James Nielson and screenwriter Bill Walsh did a good job of keeping this comedy on track with plenty of laughs. Producer Walt Disney would tolerate nothing less.

Co-stars with Wyman and MacMurray include Deborah Walley, Tommy Kirk, and Kevin Corcoran as their children, Jesse Royce Landis, Michael Callan, Max Showalter, Georgette Anys, Ivan Desny, and Howard Smith as Judge Henderson.

The watchable and entertaining “Bon Voyage!” was successful at the box office for producer Walt Disney, Walt Disney Productions, and Buena Vista Entertainment. The film was nominated for two Academy Awards: Best Costume Design and Best Sound. Bon voyage to boredom with the fun comedy “Bon Voyage!”
