Fans of the series “Battlestar Galactica” will find “Razor” an interesting stand-alone made-for-television movie that goes into the show’s backstory. The plot has Lee Adama of the Galactica given command of the Pegasus, as the incumbent was killed in action. Director Felix Enriquez Alcala and teleplay author Michael Taylor do a good job with pacing, action, and character development.
Much of the cast of “Galactica” is present, along with new people, including Michelle Forbes, Stephanie Jacobsen, Mary McDonnell, Edward James Olmos, Katee Sackhoff, Jamie Bamber, James Callis, Tricia Helfer, Grace Park, Michael Hogan, Fulvio Cecere, Steve Bacic, Graham Beckel, Campbell Lane, and Nico Cortez.
