My Review

“Bailey’s Billion$” is a fun family film about a dog named Bailey who inherits a billion dollars from his devoted owner’s estate. This superior pooch picture benefits from capable direction by David Devine, a lucid screenplay by Heather Conkie and Mary Walsh, and some noted actors as well.

Jon Lovitz is the voice of Bailey, the canine recipient of the big inheritance from his owner, played by Jackie Burroughs. All is well for Bailey until he becomes the victim of scheming from the disinherited son and daughter-in-law (Tim Curry and Jennifer Tilly). However, he does have an ally in Dean Cain, Laurie Holden, and Angela Vallee. Others are Melissa DiMarco, Max Baker, Sheila McCarthy, Kenneth Walsh, Munro Chambers, Eugene Lipinski, and Richard Waugh.

The cast members all do well in their respective roles, ensuring that the watchable motion picture “Bailey’s Billion$” does not go to the dogs.
