My Review

“Any Which Way You Can” is the sequel to Clint Eastwood’s 1978 comedy “Every Which Way but Loose.” This wacky action comedy followed the continuing story of Eastwood’s trucker character getting into lots of trouble, accompanied by his pet orangutan Clyde.

Director Buddy Van Horn (“The Dead Pool” 1988) and screenwriters Stanford Sherman and Jeremy Joe Kronsberg kept things moving in this nearly two hour, very entertaining and watchable picture from Warner Bros.

The box office hit has a great supporting cast including Sondra Locke, Geoffrey Lewis, Ruth Gordon, William Smith, Harry Guardino, and Barry Corbin in one of his first movie appearances. He immediately went on the fame as Sheriff Fenton Washburn on television’s big hit “Dallas” on CBS.
