“Ant-Man” is more superhero fun and games from Marvel Studios and Walt Disney Pictures. This twelfth installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe features Paul Rudd as Scott Lang, an average guy down on his luck who gets a second chance in life as Ant-Man. Rudd not only did well in the title role; he also made a contribution as one of the screenwriters.
The two hour motion picture moved rapidly and smoothly thanks to the expert direction by Peyton Reed (“Yes Man” 2008) and to the engaging screenplay by Edgar Wright, Joe Cornish, Adam McKay, and Rudd.
Talented co-stars are plentiful in this picture which includes Evangeline Lilly, Corey Stoll, Michael Douglas, Bobby Cannavale, Michael Pena, Tip Harris, Wood Harris, Judy Greer, Abby Ryder Fortson, David Dastmalchian, and Anthony Mackie in a cameo appearance as the Falcon. Chris Evans and Sebastian Stan also show up in cameos in their roles as Captain America and Winter Soldier, respectively.
“Ant-Man” did well in theatrical release for Marvel Studios and Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.
