“Aftermath” is a drama film about an airplane crash and its effect on two people: The air traffic controller in charge and a man who lost his wife and daughter. Director Elliot Lester put together a movie that is an adequate retelling of a true story which is filled with tense moments and heavy drama. It was filmed with a generous amount of dark shadows, from an acceptable script was written by Javier Gullon.
The performances by cast members broke no new ground. Arnold Schwarzenegger plays the grieving widower and Scoot McNairy portrays the air traffic controller. Co-stars include Maggie Grace, Glenn Morshower, Hannah Ware, Lewis Pullman, Teri Clark Linden, Kevin Zegers, and Martin Donovan. The so-so watchable movie “Aftermath” was released on video on demand from producer Arnold Schwarzenegger, Emmet/Furla/Oasis Films, Pacific View Management, Protozoa Pictures, Grindstone Entertainment Group, and Lionsgate Premiere.
