Liam Neeson plays an aging criminal who tries to reconnect with his family and fix mistakes from the past. However, his criminal lifestyle which he cannot let go of threatens to destroy everything he holds so dear. Director Hans Petter Molland put together a decent crime drama that is a good vehicle for Neeson, from a well written screenplay by Tony Gayton.
The supporting cast includes Daniel Diemer, Ron Perlman, Frankie Shaw, Yolanda Ross, Terrence Pulliam, Javier Molina, William Xifaras, Ran Caraway, Bruce Soscia, Ryan Homchick, and Josh Drennen as Liam Neeson’s dad. The watchable “Absolution” premiered at number twelve at the box office for Sculptor Media, Electromagnetic Productions, and Samuel Goldwyn Films.
