“A Working Man” is an action-adventure movie where Jason Stratham plays a retired Royal Marine Commando (from the U. K.) now working as a construction supervisor in Chicago. When his employer’s daughter is kidnapped by the Russian Mafia, he takes matters in his own hands to free her. The non-stop action proceeds from there, well-directed by David Ayer, who wrote the screenplay with Sylvester Stallone.
Jason Stratham is the star of the show and carries the film in what is basically a vehicle for him and a showcase for his talents.
