My Review

Sequels are quite often inferior products to the original film.  This is not the case with “A Quiet Place Part II,” which contains more action sequences and moves along at a rapid and even pace, superior to 2018’s “A Quiet Place.”

Credit goes to director-screenwriter John Krasinski, who also shared production duties with Michael Bay  (“Transformer” film series) and starred in the original and makes an appearance (in flashback scenes) in number two, with his real-life wife Emily Blunt.

She continues her role as Evelyn Abbott, the widow-lady who carries on the fight against some creepy aliens, with her children played by Noah Jupe and Millicent Simmonds. The supporting cast includes Cillian Murphy, Djimon Hounsou, Scoot McNairy, Dean Woodward, and Okieriete Onaodowan.

The very watchable “A Quiet Place Part II” is a hit at the box office for Paramount Pictures and Mr. and Mrs. Krasinski.  It was first released in March 2020 and pulled because of the Corona Virus pandemic, and finally hit theaters is a big way in April 2020.
