Tyler Perry has always been the star of the show, portraying the matriarch of the Simmons family with his patented sassy comic delivery. The Madea pictures aren’t Shakespeare, never pretended to be, but is definitely comic relief in the movie house nonetheless.
Perry is also the producer, director, writer, and co-star in two or three different parts in each film. His supporting cast includes Cassi Davis, Patrice Lovely, Ciera Payton, Mike Tyson, K. J.
