“In Like Flynn” tells the true story of the early life of legendary Australian actor Errol Flynn before his movie star years. The fast moving film follow’s Flynn’s adventures in Papua New Guinea and in the outback of Australia. Down Under director Russell Mulcahy (“Highlander” 1986) did a marvelous job of pacing in the film, and got a great performance out of Thomas Cocquerel as Flynn. The film would have flopped without Cocquerel being at the top of his game in the title role.
The supporting cast of this watchable independent Australian production includes Corey Large, William Moseley, Clive Standen, Callan Mulvey, David Wenham, and Isabel Lucas. Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer realeased this 106 minute movie.
